Jeremy here. This is one building I would love to be able to get into at night. Its rumored that a guard has seen someone walking on a security camera in the building and footsteps are heard. I've done 2 social studies projects on the state capitol back in elementary school and middle school I believe that was probably 10 years ago or somewhere around there. My dad which is deceased now knew someone who had even let me go into the basement to check out the whole building. Sadly he's deceased aswell. I've been curious to as to who supposedly haunts the building. Any ideas on obtaining permission to check it out? I know it'd be harder because its goverment property.

Unfortunatly it would be very difficult to get in there if at all. My team has already approached them with the idea since it's in our backyard. They were very against it since it is run by the state as a "state monument". Lots of red tape and heartache.

Yes indeed. I know when we had to simply investigate a state-owned battlefield, we had to go through numerous forms with the Office of State Parks, so I can imagine how much more of a pain it would be for something like the old Capitol.
