What ticks me off is when someone makes up words and tries to use them in sentences. Heres an example, our investigation was very scientifical. ;D Haha. Sorry, had to do it.

when I was the nurse and RiverBend nuclear plant, I had a lady ask me if I got over time or if it was all Skrait time.. I had to ask her to repeat herself twice just to make sure she really did sound that stupid.

Some insight about washing dishes in the 'zinc.' My dad says the same thing. I learned in one of my French slang dictionaries that "zinc" in French is counter/bar. Maybe it is a Cajun thing? That's what makes me feel better about him saying it.... Of course, he does buy his dishwashing liquid at "The WalMark"

ROFLMAO!! My dad says the same thing. Every place of business has "the" in front of it, as if it was the only one in existence. Ex: The WalMarks & The Sonics. Also notice the "s" at the end, making it plural, yet contracted himself with the single "the" in front! hahaha
Another classic one is instead of saying "over there" my dad always says "over yunder". DAMN COONASSES!!! Wouldnt be any other way.

I heard a good one the other day when I brought my little girl to the doctor's office. I had been waiting it the waiting room for about 20 minutes when in walks this woman who looked like she just stepped out of the welfare line. She sits down in the waiting room and after about 10 minutes, she yells to the receptionist "Dis redickless!!! My legs be hurt'n too much fo me to be sitt'n yer dis long!! I'm bout to jus call da ambalance to take me to da E.R. (pronounced E. ARRA).

Speaking of WalMart....I have actually had checks written at the register - in Walmart- made out to Walmarks. I wish I could have had a dollar for everytime I was asked for a "round quarter" !!! I usually replied with the statment that I only had square ones.
