though I am kind of new to all this and I have never claimed to be a pro, I need some help. I have a case that I am working on. This is a theory I guess. The homeowner after putting up with events happening finally yelled at whomever and told them to stop freaking her out. A few days later the last known event happened and all has been quiet. But across the street is an old chair company which is not used by anyone has seen an increase of strange events. At odd hours, day and night , the upstairs lights come on. They are not on a timer. A few noises here and there. So here is my question, could something be connected to the land and the house and by makng her comments decide just to go across the street and act up there. I hope that makes sense to you all. The house has been quiet since Oct 08. A few personal experiences when we investigated it but nothing major. Just a few things we are working on. Please let me know if this is possible and that I now maybe looking at a bigger area to search in. Thanks

Its very possible, especially if what was there to begin with is only connected to the surrounding area and not a specific dwelling.

That does make sense. The surrounding area of the house in question was a large flax farming area in the 1800's. The building across the street where the current activity seems to be was a chair company. Seeing that the guy who owns the building live on the west coast if seems hard to talk to someone about trying to go in and take a look around. The seeing that the land was owned by one family for years could be the link that I have ben looking for. The only big event to ocur in the town is a flood in 1913 which 50- 75 people lose their lifes. I believe all the bodies were recovered. So I guess I will go back and reinvestigate next month and see if we get anything and at least walk around the building to see if we can get something. Thanks Brad.
