Ok, Hold the Noise down girls

Not Long ago when I lived in a Garage House in the Historic area of Beaumont, Tx, The Landlord told me that the house was built before WW2, The place looked nice, enjoyed living there.
As you all know, we, who are involved in the Paranormal tend to attract Spirits, well, I found out pretty quick like that I wasnt the only one living in this house, it was one of my days off, so I stay up late, watching TV and reading, come about 3:30am, I went to bed, I was just about to fall off to sleep when I heard these two girls giggling in the Living room, I jumped outta bed, walked into the Living room, of course, nobody was there. So, I said, "Alright you girls, hold it down". and I went back to bed.

I seemed to have fell off to sleep pretty quick, but at 4am I got woke up by what sounded like a "jack in the box" going off right next to my head, it was loud, I quickly turned on the small lamp next to the bed, and for an instant, I could have sworn I saw a dark shadow on the wall that vanished about a second after the light came on. Being startled by that, I grabbed my Glock .9mm that I keep in a homemade holster sewn into my bed mattress. After that incident, I slept with the light on in the Living room. yeah I know, the Pistol wouldnt have done any good against a Spook, but, it did make me feel better to have it in my hand..

That part of Beaumont I lived in used to be a really nice neighborhood, however, over the years the Human trash moved in, walked the streets at night, looking for things to steal, although my security door, and front door were dead bolted locked, it wasnt uncommon to hear someone walk up the stairs in the middle of the night and pull on the door to see if it was open.. I was glade when I moved...
But that house had, I figure more than one spook in it...too bad they didnt help me pay rent...

Wow that's really interesting. Did you ever get a chance to look up history on the location to confirm any of the activity?

I didnt get indebth with the History, but the Land Lord said that before the house was remodeled back before WW2, it was used as a slaves quarters, now, whether thats true or not, I dont know, but the place was in the Historical district of Beaumont, and it wasnt hard to tell the house was old.
I know that I did do some EVP in the house, and did captured something, I dont remember what tho as I do alot of EVP work most everwhere I go.

I believe that everywhere I go is Haunted, Because you have to remember that, since before this country was a nation, you had all those Indians who died, then We became a nation, and think about how many people have been dieing since then, I think that can be alot of earthbound spirits. I carry a digital recorder on me most everywhere I go..

I can understand about not wanting to experience weird happenings where you live, I get them all the time, even where Im at now, its not uncommon to get woke up in the middle of the night by someone wanting attention, or be acknowledged, They slap the doorknob on my closet door. Ive come to the Conclusion that I have someone around me all the time..

moatesoates I agree but when your having growling in your ear so close to your face you don't want to turn your head,being grabbed and touched from head to foot, having what sounds like demonic tourtued animals screamed in you ears,watching your dogs track something that is not there and one of them get hurt by nothing in the room,having things move without you touching them,having a bed move for as long as your in the room and more it's kinda hard to ignore.

I wish I could but it's impossable most times. I found keep your faith strong and own your body and mind and show no fear. That I believe is the key and the only thing that has worked for me. Take care all.

And briankey I know what you mean about the gun the first few times things happen thats a natural reaction. I'm thinking of getting my 12 shells filled with holy water LMAO

I keep Holy Water in a small glass bottle, I also have wooden Crossess on the Walls in all three rooms of this house Im renting. I have a Bible on the Nightstand, so, what Im experiencing doesnt appear to be negative.
You didnt mention it, but, you should try asking politely for this thang to leave your house, or ask a Priest to come over and Bless the house.

I went to a Catholic church over in Beaumont, Tx about two weeks ago, I wanted to get my Cross that I carry on my person blessed by a Priest, Well, Nothing against anyone, but this guy came across as though I was "Disturbing" Him, or causing and "inconvenience". Something else, Whenever I go to get some Holy Water, I never understood why I cant get the Holy water myself,, or when the receptionist goes to get it, I cant watch her, they ask me to stay in the Lobby... Whats up with that?, I did spy on a receptionist once that went to get the water, I caught her getting it out of the Tap. So, I have a deal with not trusting....

I kinda wonder if alot of these Priests just go thru the motions....

I had been fortunate enough to see two majior prayers for mercy answered at the time of my parents death. They passed away several years apart and I prayed for mercy to end my fathers life he passed away in 1977 just 4 days before my 18th birthday. I had not visited him in the hospital for about 4 days and my mom came in and said I should go see him. I told her he is waiting for me so he can die. So I got up and went and when I walked into his room it was like all the air was squeezed out of my lungs. I bowed my head at the foot of his bed and prayed for God to take him out of his misery if he can not be cured. "I should say he had not acknowledge anyone for about a week." He then turned to me and asked me to take care of my mother and I said I would and he took his last breath and the only thing touching the bed was the back of his head and the heels of his feet. Then he went slowly down on the bed and was a peace. And the same for my mother at the time of her death in 1996.

I only mention that because it shows how much God loves us and hears our prayers. About a month ago are so I was sitting in my bed room at the computer and my bed would not stop moving and squeaking. And when I say this I mean for 30 minutes or more. I did something I should not have but was fortunate enough that Jesus Christ answered my prayer. I turned to the (This is so weird to say) bed and I said "That is enough....wether you belong in Heaven are Hell you have to face your sins and get out of my house and asked Jesus Christ to send the Arch Angel Michael to crush this evil out of my house. The bed stopped rather quickly and about a minute are so later it sounded like my house exploded,everything shook and I thought the roof was coming down. I went outside asked my neighbors if they heard and explosion they did not, I walked around the house and nothing had hit my house and when I went back in the house felt much lighter.

Things have slowed down since then and I would not suggest anyone do what I did I know it was stupid but something just came over me and I said what I did. As far as the Holy water I wonder about the Priest my self. I have gotten the same reaction from them before. I guess they for got their vows.

I spoke to a Carmilite Nun last night and she told me to get holy water and bless ever inch of the house,put Blessed Rosaries on every door knob it does not have to be the beaded kind it could be the corded kind, hang crosses and she is sending me paryers and blessed metals.

So I will try because I think there's a chance it's working it's way back in. I don't really mind some of the spirits that are not nasty are demonic and I am not saying what I had was Demonic but it could be. So I am vigilant in my faith,pray every day at least a couple of times a day and worry more about my animals(dogs) than I do myself. My largest one had something happen to her about 3 weeks ago and she will not leave the smaller ones side. They track things across the house about everyday.

I am having and investigation this wekend and have ordered a 4 channel DVR with sound and will put it up soon they sent the wrong one. I might at night broadcast the areas of the house I am not in over the net. I will let you know if I do. Thanks for the good advice. The one friend I have my entire life said you(me) should keep my gun by my side at all times! I told him what am I going to shoot that's what struck home with your comments.

Sorry to hear about your parents passing on. My Mother died in April 2007, my father passed away this past May 23rd 2009, it is still very very hard for me, I guess in one respect, when you loose your parents, you loose your safety net, maybe that doesnt make much sense, but for me, even at 49 I still went to him for advice and to just chat..I will say that it will be a mighty Long time before I get over it, if I ever do.

Something in your last post caught my eye, you said that your father heaved upwards, then slowly laid down on the bed, I wasnt there when my dad died, I got the call Memoral Day weekend, that Saturday, but when I asked the Neighbor to give me details of what happened, she said that Daddies Chest Heaved upward, he took a deep breath, his hands shook alittle, then he slowly, calmly settled back down on the porch, took about 6 more breaths, probably just a body reaction, and his eyes partially rolled back into his head. I guess because it was my father, I wanted to know every detail, every little thing he experienced, or what they saw.
And that leads me to wonder if when a Person Heaves upward, that that is the time his spirit/soul is leaving the body?, I have to believe thats what happens, some may call it the time of Death, but I would prefer to call it the time our Spirit departs the body.

My sister, during my Dads funeral said she saw a white Orb moving back and forth across my fathers casket, I wish she had said something.

Hi Brian,

Were the same age and even though I lost mine years ago there is not a day that goes by without me thinking of them. I now own the only house we ever had it's the one I was raised in.

Being there at the time of my fathers death was tough but peaceful that his agony was over. I can only describe his death,last breath as if he were being grabbed in the middle of his body and lifted up and then he slowly was eased down like you lay a baby down. It was heart breaking but peaceful. I stood there for about 5 minutes and then went and told the nurse that he had just passed away. They ran in there and tried to bring him back I told them he is gone don't waste your time.

It was so peaceful to see his agony end. He was only 4 years older than I am now. My mothers last few months were complete agony for her and me. I quit my job and stayed with her and did everything the Nurses would do. I have a brother and sisters and got no help from them at all. She had Alzheimer's and my god that is a agonizing way to go.

But I am greatful to have had the parents I did and for me loosing my father at 17 completely tore my life apart. I had lost direction in my life and the wisdom that he had.

I agree it was my father's soul leaving and God taking him out of his misery as I had asked. It still seem's so strange to ask for someone you love so much to be taken but there was no coming back for him his body was riddled with Cancer. The peaceful look on his face said it all.

Well, I understand how you feel about your parents, when my father died, it torpedoed me pretty good.

You know, you said you own the home you were raised in, have you ever thought that your parents might be back at your house?. alot of times, Poeple who lived in a home all their lives, return to it after they pass on...You might consider doing some EVP there.

Hi Brian,

Funny you should mention that. I completely tore the house down after hurricane Katrina. I lived in it for a couple of years with the back part blown of the house. Being single made that much easier. We finished 99% of the house last year thanks to a neighbor that own's a construction company and wanted to help.

I had to remove part of the house because of monies and the part removed was my mother's favorite part of the house. It was a den that was 20ft x 40ft. It took me a while to notice it but I would step out the house where the den was and right where she use to watch TV and fall asleep most of the time I started smelling a very strong floural scent and I thought it was my neighbors wearing heavy perfume.

Than the third time I smelled it I remembered that scent was my mothers perfume. I would step 3ft away from the spot she was always in and you could not smell the perfume. That's when I realized it was my mom that I was feeling around me. Not a bad are scarey felling but a pleasent one.So I believe with all my heart she is around me.

But the presence that has been rather bold and nasty is not her. This presence is something I have never seen before. It went from my dogs standing up and the hair standing up on their back and neck and two puppy barks in my hallway that the dogs ran after and of coarse nothing was there. To Touching, demonic sound screams, shadows walking across the room, growling in my ear and many other things .

It has slowed way down from what it was. But it still worries me because of the many forms it showed it self as. So we shall see how things go.

I did buy a very good recorder with stereo mic's and just let it run in the room where the bed was moving and I caught a lot of sounds from very shallow voices to what sounded like someone slamming a peice of wood on a table. The room was shut and you had to open 3 doors to get to the room so it was pretty well blocked off and I did not start the recorder until midnight. I only listened to two hours of it and had about 15-20 sounds it picked up. So when the investigation is done I will give that to the team and with their equipment they can do more than I can with it.

My Dad could be around but I have never felt him around me but that doesn't mean he's not. I had thought of that because of the reconstruction of the house and being in the house I was born and raised in. Something definitely took notice. Just my luck LOL

The family Lake home near Winnfield, La for years has had spooks in it, it seems that since I started Messing with the Paranormal, things have been happening in the house, goes back to what I said once before, You seek out the spooks, they come looking for you.

You may have your parents in your home, but also, its hard to know, because it could be someone else, I believe that there are Earthbound spirits wondering around all over the place, I think when they know someone is involved in the Paranormal, they stop in for awhile, then move on. If you know your Mothers perfume, then its very possible thats who is it.
As far as the problem with the Spook who seems to be a jerk, If your a jerk in Life, you may be one after death.

At the Lake house, usually at night, I hear someone walking around, the floor creaks, Could it be my father?, I dont know, when he was alive, he told me about strange things that would happen in the house.
He called me one afternoon, said that he was leaning against the icebox, looking at the Medicine Bottles, fixing to take his Blood pressure meds, the room he had closed off, the door was ajar, he said that all of the sudden, the door opened up, and slammed shut, scareing the hell out of him. Daddy used to go visit Cemeteries with me when doing EVP work.

Stand your ground Mike, Pull out the Bible, and order this crazy spook to leave your place and never come back....But you know, Being New Orleans, that city probably has thousands of spooks wondering around from all era's of time, so, who knows, you may have a Crazy Pirate hanging around.

If you have a Camcorder with Nightshot on it, you ought to post it where the activity is High, see what you catch, especially thoughs shadows, that would be interesting to see.

I would keep a record of all that goes on there...

I am sending the DVR back that I was sent and as soon as I get the next one in I will probably start broadcasting it over the net. There's a few sites I can do it from. I would only do it from the area's I am not in and start late at night.

I just got a package of blessed metals,Rosary's and prayer cards. I put a blessed Rosary on every door that is and entry to the house and when I walked into my bed room with one of the blessed Rosay's I got chills from my head all the way down my spine.

I went let my dogs out and when we came back in right above the head of the bed in the wall was the loudest scratching I have ever heard. Pretty weired! I'm not going anywhere this is my house and I will fight for it.

We'll see what happens this weekend it should be interesting.

Since I moved my bed up against the wall that has the Cross hanging on it, I havent seen any of the lights that I have been seeing earlier. Thinking about moving the bed back to its original position, just to see if they pop up again, and try and video tape them..an experiment.

You ought to do some EVP, ask who is in your home...

The investigation went on last night and did not go very well. One girl and empath got so sad and sick I was very worried about her and still am. the other empath got light headed and started not feeling very well. One of the guys got feeling bad as well.

That was my worry before they came. After I recieved the call they were on there way the house started having knocks and cracking sounds in the attic and walls. When they got here it slowed right away.

We will see how the EVP's came out. I told them they can come back as many times as they want. I just felt so bad that they were being effected and there was nothing I could do.

Hate to hear about the empaths unpleasant experiences, Im sure they have experienced it many times before.

You know that a spirit can project his/her saddness, anger onto the living?... Whenever I go to my Haunted House on the Battlefield, I sometimes feel great saddness. But in this case of your house, sounds like whatever was there didnt like the idea of intruders looking for it...

Have you ever thought about contacting the Catholic Church?, asking them to have a Priest come to your home and do a Blessing?.. Im curious, did the investigators do a Prayer before the investigation?...

I believe there is a huge amount of religion that has to be involved in any investigation, it seems nowdays religion is becoming a taboo on any Ghost Hunting show you see on TV, you see none of them doing a prayer, I guess even on these shows there is Political Correctness involved, I suppose because everybody is afraid of offending someone who may not be of the same religion, or religious as all.
So, I think that when you dont involve religion into your investigation, you open yourself up to harm from demonic or negative entities.

So, Mike, it wouldnt hurt to contact the Church, have someone come out to bless your home..

Briankey, saw where u said something about the nun getting ur holey water out of the tap. There is no special kind of water used for Holy water. U can use any kind of water, it doesn't become Holy water until the Priest blesses it.

Hello Kelly: Yes, I know about the Holy Water and needing to be blessed, but when you get the water out of the tap, hand it to me, there was no blessing involved.
