I am so excited to be a new member on this board! I've always been interested in the "paranormal." Just curious, how many people are allowed to sign up for your UL C.E. Course? I was thinking about signing up for the August session. Also.... how difficult is it to become an "investigator in training" with yall??? Do yall do this in your spare time or is it a full-time job?? We usually have a 30 student maximum. Unfortunately, there is little, if any, profit in this, so of course, we have regular jobs.

I'm pretty sure I will sign up for the August class. Do you go into any specifics after the course is over about continuing any training if people are interested??

We cover alot of specifics in the course. The only thing that we really don't cover in detail is the actual setting up of a DVR system - placement (usually common sense), running of the cables, etc. Maybe that is something that we could maybe implement in a different sort of class. We do this for practical reasons, with so many in attendance it would contaminate any possible evidence found as well as create trip hazzards. The classes are really alot of fun, I know I enjoy them as much as the participants.

For those who may be attending the classes on May 23rd, 24th, and 25th, the investigation will be at The Bienvenue House in St. Martinville. This is also a bed & breakfast, so if you would want to continue your investigation after the bulk of the class go home, you could opt to stay there for the evening. It is a fabulous place with so much history! The owners Jill and Skip are really great people, and we thank them so much for allowing us the have the investigarion there. For more details on our investigation that we had done there just go to the investigations section on the website and click on The Bienvenue House.

Yep, thats what makes these classes so sucessful. That way, even those who have attended before, return just so they can investigate a new location that they would not have normal access to.

I just returned from the investigation for the 2nd UL Class at The Bienvenue House. We all had such a wonderful time! I would again like to thank Jill and Skip for allowing us to go in and investigate there. It was a pleasant surprise to see that they had framed the article done on us while we investigated there last June, and that they have it on the wall by the staircase! They even had cake and tea for everyone after the investigation. Over all, it was another successful evening.
