They did give me a lovely pen however. A bic with the Myrtles wrapped all around. I was so pissed that night! I still get mad everytime I think about it.

Hmm you may want to talk to my friend Karen. Much of what is "known" about this place is not entirely correct. Many teams have tried to get in there however and yea it's nearly impossible. Especially since the mansion is currently up for sale.

Jennifer, I for one also know that alot of the hype about the place has been continued for the sake of $$$ by previous owners. I will say though that my wife and I stayed there a couple of years ago overnight in was I believe the Judge Woodruff suite (Its the one that is all by itself on the opposite side of the house with its own staircase) and we did get some pretty compelling evidence, including some that made my hair stand on edge as I was reviewing it (I will try to post some of it tonight). Is this why you dont like the place or did they try to blatantly lie or trick y'all somehow? Id just like to know because if thats the case, I think thats pretty sad. The place should be able to stand on its own as far as paranormal things without trickery. Please let us know, thanks!

There's no doubt the place is both historically essential and active. In the past, there have been some miscommunication, as dollar signs seem to often cloudy the vision of some of these business owners.
