Not sure if this was the appropriate forum for it but what the hell. Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I hope you guys enjoy your holiday!! Turkey Day is my favorite, it's killing me I can't be in the kitchen cooking this year. I'm usually a cooking fool on Thanksgiving.

Great!!, My pet turkey died. He was hiding in the oven when I started to cook breakfast.

Spent this week at the Camp near Winnfield, La. Had a good time by myself, nearly ate myself into a coma. Went walking in a couple of cemeteries collecting EVP's at 1am, since it was a full moon this week, I saw a couple of shadows, one was mine, not sure who the other three belonged to tho, that was creepy.
When Im at the camp, Im like a "Night Crawler", I love running the roads, riding my 4 wheeler through the woods on trails, seeing just what I can see thats stalking around, whats hiding behind the next pine tree that might jump out and grab me, of course, I never ever go out there without my 9mm and AR-15, having those just seems to make me alittle more Ballsy, and I feel comforted, Cause I know that a fight with Bigfoot, I WILL win.. I always take my Digital recorder everywhere I go, and I stopped way back in the woods on this old firebreak, turned the headlights off, shut the motor off, and just listened to the forest, how quiet it got, it was a nice night, and even with the full moon, its dark, and your senses become sharper, I tried alittle EVP, I asked, "Hey, is there anyone whose riding shotgun with me tonight?" a couple of seconds later I get this EVP saying a quick, "Yeah", so I said, "Well alright, happy to have you aboard", and We took off thru the woods.
I stopped at this one cemetery that Ive only been to several times during the day, as I approached it, apprehension quickly set in, a slight fear, I learned over the years of investigating places like Cemeteries, Civil War Battlefields and old buildings that were used as Civil War Hospitals, that if I sense that Im not Welcome, get a powerful apprehension, I dont proceed, so Tuesday morning at 2am, me and my ghostly shotgun rider got back on the 4 wheeler and left. I believe that spirits can project fear, apprehension on someone when they dont want you around, so out of respect for them, I leave.
But it didnt stop there, going down the road I had this strange feeling I was being followed, so I whipped the 4 wheeler around to shine the headlights back up the road, Nothing there. It took about an hour for the feeling of being followed to go away. So, I called it a night.
Dont get me wrong folks, I understand there are things in those woods that can put a hurtin on ya, really scare the crap out of you, Ive already experienced some of it over the years, and yes, there is alittle fear in me everytime I go out, Im not superman, but I love the forest at night, and of course, the firepower helps alot.

Sounds like you had a pretty cool holiday. I definitely agree with having a little firepower with you at times, I'm a little biased between the cop/military thing though haha!!
