I have been watching alot of shows on TV and youtube about Archeaologist digging up Mummies in Egypt and other sites around the World, Even College Students in this country going to Indian Burial Sites and digging around, disturbing those at rest.
For me, Grave Robbing is Grave Robbing, doesnt matter what authority you think you have, whether its Archeaology, or some College, nobody has the right to disturb the dead for any reason. And digging around in Indian Burial Grounds, I think is the worst. Knowing what we know about the Dead, you go digging around, disturbing them, you may get more than you bargain for..
So whats your Take???

In the history, of history, the spoils belong to the victor. He who wins decides what happened, why, and how. Whether it's right or wrong, it's what has happened. So, checking out history will always be decided by those who have the legal authority to do so (realizing there well always be grave robbers), and to regulate it as they see fit. As far as disturbing the dead, my opinion, if you pay your dues, you take your chances.......

Dang, the Flu sucks,, anyway,, Sometimes in Houston at the Museums they will have a mummy from Egypt, or some other corps, I just find it horrible to put on display a dead body, for everybody to see. Tell ya, knowing what I know about the Dead, I wont go see no mummy...Who knows, there may be a spirit hanging around...I have no doubt.

Personally, a dead body, whether mummy or by any other name, holds no real fascination for me. The body died, give it the respect and privacy it deserves. A study I saw several years ago indicated that, in the year 2000, that it was estimated/calculated that, since mankind's beginning, that there were about 25 dead for every living person in that year. Assuming we are accurate that the spirit survives bodily death (and we aren't insane), how can it be a real surprise that we find evidence that the dead do interact with the living on a resonable frequency? I would find in more unusual if survival were true and NO interaction ever was reported, given a 25:1 ratio.

Oh yeah, Set and think about how many people have died since this land became inhabited by immigrants, not to mention all the early indians, I'll always believe there are millions of earthbound spirits just wondering around, I call them the Homeless Ghosts.
Well, once you bury someone, they that body stays buried, and isnt to be put on show.
