I think heroine and morphine sums it all up.

Yep, Crowley was quite the twisted individual. He is both an interesting, yet also repulsive person in history. I for one, would love to see someone investigate Boleskine House in Scotland one day(I realize it is privately owned now, but if someone would grant permission, it would be quite interesting)THis place has had a long terrible history of things happening there, including the church that was on the property before where Boleskine stands now, burning to the ground with people in it, as well as Crowley performing the Abramelin rituals there which supposedly released dark spirits and powers upon the grounds. Just a tidbit for those unaware, Jack Parsons(Who was a follower of one of Crowleys offshoot cults the O.T.O) went on to work with L. Ron Hubbard to develop the cult of Scientology(I refuse to call it a religion, it is what it is) after which Parsons died under some very mysterious circumstances. IF you dont believe Scientology is tied in with the occult and against Christianity in general, look up and read about the Scientology rank or level of OT-VIII. That group is founded(even though distantly) in alot of the same dark, satanic basis that Thelema and much of Crowleys warped beliefs were. Most people at the lower levels as well as those outside the group are kept in the dark about these things and are completly oblivious to most of this till they are indoctrinated and deep into it for years before it is revealed to them. Sorry if Ive stepped on anyones toes here that believe in the aliens/Thetans teachings, but Im just calling it like I see it.

I don't think anyone could doubt that he held some "non-traditional" beliefs!

I don't think anyone could doubt that he held some "non-traditional" beliefs! "non-traditional" is quite the understatement when discussing Crowley!
