Another previous post from MarkI have heard and read about this before, it is very interesting and may have happened to some of you before. I know it has happened to me, so here is some info on what you may be experiencing: Mark S L E E P P A R A L Y S I S In the dark depths of the middle of the night you are woken suddenly with a feeling of evil surrounding you, you can't breathe and your chest is heavy, is someone pressing down on you or trying to suffocate you? To your horror you can't move, something is holding you down! You think you can hear voices and see a dark shadowy figure swooping around your bed...are you being visited by Demons or are you merely suffering an episode of Sleep Paralysis? More can be read here: www.castleofspirits.com/sleepparalysis.html another site: www.whatwasthen.com/old_hag.html

I've never had anything happen like that to me in my sleep, however on one investigation I had someone or something invisible to the naked eye wrap their arms around my calfs and try to pull down on my legs as if trying to pull me through the floor. It hurt with the stress on my ankle and knee joints and left visible bruising on my knee. It's documented on my site. Investigation #015.

Sounds like a really cool experience. I would love to have something like that to happen to me. Maybe its b/c I want it so bad, thats why it never happens.

To be completely honest that particular moment scared the ever living hell out of me. I'm pretty sure that some investigators out there would have quit the field after something like that. I hope you get your experience but I also hope it's not as bad as mine.

WOW, I can't say that I have ever had that experience happen to me either. That would be crazy weird.

Dood... you don't even wanna know. When it was happening, it sucked... when it was over, it sucked... even now after wards, I laugh about it but it still sucks.

I'm with Brad on that one. That's what I keep hoping for. Even though I might cry like baby, pass out, or maybe even wet myself, it's still something that would make my day.

When I was about 19 years old I was spending the night at Beth Gaspard's house (AKA Mrs. Red to brad and I) When in the middle of the night my eyes opened... I was breathing fine...but couldn't move my body at all...i was frozen into this stare that led me to the floor beside the bed...I couldnt see anything, but i could hear something breathing right next to the bed... I couldnt move, couldnt run, couldnt yell...All i could think was "something is here with me!" As I fought hard to move some part of my body...any part... i heard what sounded like something struggling to fit under the bed. As soon as the struggle ended, I was able to move... I got up and ran into the living room where I sat all night praying. (Imagine that) When Beth woke up, she blamed some ungodly spirit and asked if there was anything in my life that needed prayer...Brad knows "Mrs. Red"...and knows why she would be asking me all of these questions...Needless to say, I never spent the night there again. To this day, I have no idea what it was...and I have never had that experience again.

This has actually happened to me before. I didnt hear voices or anything, but I woke up in the night and felt like someone/ something was trying to smother me. It was really weird. The apartment I was living in, my roomate tried telling me it was haunted, and the girl who lived under us told us she thought the same about her apartment. The apartment was a very old house, used in the army or something, and remodeled and turned into a 4plex. I never felt the place was haunted though.
