The first church I worked at had a large cemetery out back. The church was in Zachary, LA and was established in 1875. Needless to say there was a lot of history there. The actual structure was pretty old as well. While working there I was a full time student in New Orleans. Needless to say there were a lot of late nights spent at the church working. The church had an eerie ambiance at night, however I just discarded it as any large building being scary at night while you're alone. One night when I was leaving, I was walking out to my truck and I saw an odd blue light low to the ground in the cemetery. Being alone, it kind of made my heart race. I decided, well, if it is something paranormal, I better walk toward it, being that a minister is kind of in the paranormal business. As I got closer the light stayed put, So my heart started pumping even harder. I actually had a feeling that something might jump out of the grave and grab me. Still, I steadied myself and moved forward. When I got there it was a solar light that someone had put on their loved ones grave. The moral of the story is this. If you see something that you think is paranormal, move toward it. Most likely it is nothing but your imagination. A person's imagination left to roam will conjure up some of the darkest demons ever conceived. Much Love to the Homies, Mike

There is an old Cemetery in Silver Cliff/Westcliff Colorado, at the foot of the Sande De Cristo Mountain range, I have been there, its a Catholic Cemetery, but as the story goes, back in the old days, the late 1800's, there were some men riding in this horse drawn wagon, they were drunk, stopped at the cemetery, they started to see little blue flames, or lights that danced atop the headstones, they tried to chase them, catch them, but they would always go out when they got close, finally it started to scare them to death, so they went back to town, told everybody, of course, nobody believed them. But to this day, the National Geographics folks witnessed these little blue lights dancing atop the headstones, theres even a Plague outside the gate that says this Cemetery is Haunted by Ghost Lights. Google it, you will find the story and a photo...

I remember seeing something about the ghost lights. It may have even been before this experience which may have played a role in my increased heart rate, and fear as I approached the light in the cemetery. Thanks for reminding me of this, I always thought that phenomena was pretty cool.
